Out of numerous college counseling academies in Korea, I decided to trust
my college essay in the hands of Stanford Academy because of the sincerity
behind the essay editing process. So many counseling academies in Korea only
focus on creating a spotless essay that impresses the colleges that they fail
to shine the student¡¯s character and personality through the writing. They
produce numerous similar essays a year like robots without even getting to know
or analyze their students. However, people who had previously had essay
counseling from David including my brother, reassured me that he spends
many hours with his students interviewing and talking to them for information
and ideas.
Aside from helping me construct, write, and edit my essay, David also guided
me into the engineering field, which I have never considered before. I had
initially had considered a seven-year accelerated dental program, but after
talking to David for multiple hours discovered that majoring in biomedical
engineering and having a full four year as a undergraduate student would be
much more fitting for my diverse academic and physical interest.
Overall, not only did David enable me to most adequately and
professionally represent myself to the colleges through my essay, but also directed
me towards a better, more fitting future.
