Stanford Academy is not anything like ordinary hagwons. It is does more than mere SAT preparation. While other hagwons primarily focus on simply getting the students accustomed to solving SAT problems, Stanford Academy teaches students the fundamentals. Students do not just learn shallow shortcuts and memorize formulas for sheer test taking. The instructors aid students to actually comprehend the reasoning behind every concept, which allows students to legitimately learn and retain the content.

 

Moreover, the environment at Stanford Academy is like that of none other. My reading and writing teachers, Kay and Jason, were able to create comfortable classroom atmospheres where the students could make the most out of the lectures by not being afraid to speak their thoughts.We were actively engaged in every class and no questions were left unanswered.
